How it's scored

The score is the sum of six checks. They are rules of thumb drawn from what tends to work for founders writing on LinkedIn, not a copy of the platform's ranking code, and every point comes with its reason.

Hook 25 points
The first line decides whether anyone reads on. Announcements ("Excited to share…") score low; a number, a question or a short specific claim scores high. Keep it under 140 characters.
Clarity 15 points
Short sentences, under 20 words on average. No paragraph over 350 characters.
Specificity 20 points
Numbers make claims believable. Hype words (revolutionary, seamless, game-changer) cost points.
Engagement bait 15 points
Asking for likes, reposts, comments or follows in exchange is treated as bait by the platforms and may cut your reach.
Links and hashtags 10 points
Links that send people away often get less reach; put yours in the first comment. Five hashtags at most.
Length 15 points
LinkedIn allows 3,000 characters; 500 to 1,500 leaves room for a story and a takeaway.

Your input is scored in your browser. It's sent to us only when you ask for an AI rewrite (which goes to Anthropic), a share link or the report by email, and we don't store the text itself. A share link carries only the tool and the score.
